Ben is one of the founders of Merrill-Hall New Media. He has
acted as Solution Architect and/or Senior Programmer on a
number of large projects. Notably, Ben lead Merrill-Hall and
GTRI technical efforts in the conversion of proprietary format
GE Aircraft Engines to SGML. He has also designed and developed
much of the Hardin Construction extranet, which leverages
legacy systems for superior information distribution to Hardin
employees. Other projects include: site
redesign for Track & Field News, XML development for Research Data Group, and technology
consulting for E-Business Coach. The majority of Ben's work
is in database and XML-based Internet applications.
Ben came to Merrill-Hall having worked on database-driven
Web applications at MCI and Georgia Tech. He holds an M.S.
in Information Design and Technology from Georgia Tech, with
a thesis on XML and Java multimedia application development.
He also holds a B.S. in Science, Technology and Culture from
Georgia Tech.
